Auditions are held regularly and existing choir members are re-auditioned every third year.

As a potential new member, you will be invited to attend rehearsals for a few weeks to give you a feel for singing with us. You will then be invited to the next audition session, which takes place at Augustine United Church, and is relaxed and friendly.

You should prepare a short song and bring a copy for the accompanist. You will be asked to perform the material you have brought and you may also be asked to sing scales and to do a little bit of sight-reading. Auditions usually take place in front of the Chorus Director, the Ladies' Convener and the Gentlemen's Convener.

It is normal to be nervous about an audition but it is nothing to worry about - and all your fellow choristers have had to go through the same process.
